This was in my office email this morning…
In Memoriam
Recently this week, UK removed The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it “offended” the Moslem population which claims it never occurred. This is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving into it.
It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended. This e-mail is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the six million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians and 1,900 Catholic priests who were murdered, massacred, raped, burned, starved and humiliated with the German and Russia peoples looking the other way!
Now, more than ever, with Iran , among others, claiming the Holocaust to be”a myth,” it is imperative to make sure the world never forgets
This e-mail is intended to reach 40 million people worldwide!
Join us and be a link in the memorial chain and help
us distribute it around the world.
Please send this e-mail to 10 people you know and ask them to continue the memorial chain.
Please don’t just delete it. It will only take you a minute to pass this along – Thanks!

Yes, the Holocaust really did happen ! I wasn’t there of course, but I was in Germany and visited one of the camps. I have also seen many old people walking around with the tattoos from the camps still on them. So, if someone tells you it didn’t happen, don’t you believe it !

I have seen in recent years, this rather horrifying trend to ignore the Holocaust and all the death that occurred at the hands of Hitler. I have even seen some blogs try to portray Hitler as a hero! I don’t know how anyone can believe this other than to just engage in the severest form of denial. My father fought in this war and it haunted him all his days. I know he hoped the world would never forget. I am glad he cannot see this attempt to sweep the whole thing under the historical carpet and pretend in never happened.

Yeah, some of the BS you see is just beyond outrageous.

This is an evil “plant”. One school, not the entire UK stopped teaching the Holocaust. Someone is trying to trick the Christians again. (It was in my inbox also.) Google “UK removed The Holocaust” to read more.

The United Kingdom Has Removed Teaching About The Holocaust From Public Schools-
FICTION
Summary of the eRumor:
The email says that the UK has “removed The Holocaust from its school curriculum
The Truth:
There has not been any governmental decision to eliminate teaching about the holocaust from schools in the UK.
This email may have been prompted by a government-funded study by the Historical Association in the UK. It found that some teachers who have multi-cultural classes have avoided teaching about controversial historical topics such as The Holocaust. The report cited several examples of schools that backed away from teaching about The Holocaust, The Crusades, and slavery. “In particular settings, teachers of history are unwilling to challenge highly contentious or charged versions of history in which pupils are steeped at home, in their community, or in a place of worship,” the report said.

Do I understand this correctly, the story about removing the Holocaust from curriculum is “fiction”, because, though it has indeed been removed, there is no govenmental program for its removl? Whoooooops!
More than that, by advising the World of the removal of the teaching of the Holocaust from curriculum is really a plot (by whom??) to “trick Christians”? Really, “again”?

Apparently some people are foolish enough to deny that the Holocaust happened and they try to promote their bogus ideas. According to Snopes, it is some teachers, not the government that tried to sanitize the school curriculum.
The bottom line is that the Holocaust really did happen.
