I’m about ready to sneak out of here. I finished two jobs and no one else in my section is here. I think it’s time to leave for my road trip to DuBois. I took the dogs to the kennel last night and Sweetous is probably already off work. So here I go….

Doctors vex me ! I was surfing the web and decided to look up the side effects of zocor which I’ve been taking everyday for several years. So I find this doctor says it may cause forgetfulness, disorientation, and confusion. On the other hand, WebMD says it may cut Alzheimers ! Go figure ! How the hell can it be good for Alzheimers and cause forgetfulness, disorientation, and confusion ?
This is a matter of concern to me because my Mother has memory problems and my Father-in-law has Alzheimers. I would like to avoid these problems myself if I can. I do tend to be forgetful fairly often. An example would be going to the store and not remembering why I went there etc. Last time I saw the doctor I asked about that, but he didn’t seem to be concerned about it. I suppose I’ll just have to keep alert about this and learn more about the subject.

I was up bright and early this morning and had a breakfast bowl to eat. On the way to work I stopped at Panera and had coffee and released a book into the wild ! So now, let me see what work I have to do…

Today was a busy but nicely productive day at work. Everything went smoothly with no urgent pleas for help or other distractions. I took a half hour walk before work too and when I got home I did 30 reps on our new crunch machine.
After work, I went to Border and since I had a coupon I figured I really ought to use it. So I bought a book: The heart of Christianity : rediscovering a life of faith. This is by Marcus Borg, a progressive Christian. I find many aspects of the Christian left to be good, although I also have some reservations about them. So anyway, I shall learn more about their ideas.
I finally got the stickers from Book Crossing today, so I prepared a book to release to the wild sometime tomorrow, probably in the morning, somewhere in Rockville.

It’s been a really busy weekend. We took of Friday and went to visit Mike and Piglette. While there we went to the fair Friday and Saturday nights; and walked all over the place. Saturday they had a Johnny Cash imitator, he was very good. I enjoyed the show. I also loved all the junk food I ate ! LOL. So today I got the dogs out of the kennel and brought them home. They were happy to be back where they belong. I assembled my new eliptical trainer and Sweetous also got a device for doing crunches which we put together. Then we straightened out the room (Piglette’s old room) and set up a small stereo in there so we can listen to loud music whilst we exercise. Well, back to work tomorrow ! I hope I don’t have a huge back log waiting for me. But we have been busy so I am sure there will be at least a small back log of stuff. Oh well, better than unemployment.
