new doggie !
I forgot to mention that Sweetous saw a puppy we bought her. We both like dogs, so after some minimal token resistence I gave in and we got her. Bella is a tiny Boston Terrier-Pug puppy; a nice little dog !
weekend update…
I enjoyed my visit to my Parents this weekend. On Saturday Sweetous, my Ma, and I went to an auction; my Ma really gets into auctions ! So anyway, between the two women, we bought 4 pick-up truckloads of stuff ! GAWD ! Did’nt spend much at all, but it was a big batch of stuff !. The women would bid on all the “lots” being sold after the big stuff was gone.
I did bid on an old computer. I hadn’t even seen it but no one would bid on it so I bid a dollar and now I have a vintage Windows 98 system sitting in my Dad’s garage. I told him he can try to sell it at his flea market or if he doen’t I will see what I can do with it.
In one of the lots there was a vintage Tandy 1000 system which runs DOS and DeskMate ! I want to bring that one home and see if I can get it running (it was all packed up in a box). That will be cool if I can get it running and find a place to put it; a true museum piece. My second computer was a Tandy 1000 way back in the early 90’s
