This morning I was reading and commenting to a post on Nancy’s blog regarding Obama’s citizenship status. There seems to be a fair amount of speculation and controversy rearding this. My own thought is that it is very unlikely he could have gone on this long in our government and political process without being a citizen; I assume that someone checks these things. I suppose it wouldn’t hurt though to make his birth certificate and other papers widely available to the public. In any case, I hope we can confine the conflct to the courts and press; we certainly don’t need to have insurrection and violence on the streets.
