I am glad we managed to get out of debt but if we were dealing with it now I would take a partial “credit terrorist” approach. I would pay for what I actually purchased but I would tell the creditors to take their interest and stick it where the sun don’t shine.

I have about zero sympathy for the credit card companies. I’ll keep plugging away paying mine down as best I can. I think the government should do a mighty and massive crackdown on them though; interest is too high, they are too aggressive in both marketing and collecting, and then there are all the outrageous fees and charges. Nope, I don’t care for them one bit !
