A very slow day at work. I did some filing and some minor changes to a spreadsheet. I looked at computers on ebay and surfed the web. I also walked twice today, but no bike ride; it’s been raining on and off all day.

a bonus & a raise…
Very good ! Our HR guy just came around to announce raises and bonuses for all (well for me anyway). I assume just about everyone else got it too. So, let’s celebrate and spend the money before it burns a hole in my pocket. LOL ! Not ! It will get eat up fast; I need it to just keep on keepin’ on. Oh well, could be worse…

thursday lunchtime…
I’m at work, trying to finish everything up so I can take off tomorrow in good conscience. We’re making a road trip to DuBois & State College; the occasion being a baby shower for young Piglette on Saturday !
I get lots of email everyday; some spam, newsletters, and lots of stuff from my friends. I figure today I will post a couple good ones I’ve received recently.

Today has to go on record as one of my busiest ever ! I walked 30 minutes twice and Sweetous and I rode our bikes for 60 minutes. At work I finished a fairly large depreciation schedule I had been working on and then a phone call… (more…)

weekend recap monday morning…
I’m at work making some good progress on a very large spreadsheet. I’ve been swamped with work for a couple weeks now but the end of the backlog is in site; today or tomorrow I would guess. Of course, I could get a another big pile before the day is over. We shall see how it goes.
Sweetous was watching the farm this weekend and I helped her. Saturday night I was channel surfing TV and found an interesting movie to watch: Seraphim Falls. I started somewhere in the middle but it was still quite interesting with lots of violence too. (more…)
