We are visiting my daughter, Parents and brothers this weekend. Picnic tomorrow and bro’s house and then fireworks. My time online will be limited as I left the power cord for my NetBook on my desk ! When the battery goes, I’ll be limited to my Droid and Kindle. Actually the Droid does quite well but it is rather small….

Road trip this past weekend; visited my Parents and daughter’s family. I enjoyed the trip but had an intermittent toothache ! So today I went to the Dentist and he said was infected and did a root canal. Nothing like an unscheduled root canal LOL ! He did give me an Rx for some high end pain pills ! Gotta love it !

I’m watching my toddler grandson; we’re at the kitchen table ostensibly for breakfast. Mike is looking at his food and talking, talking and more talking. But, I can’t quite figure out what he is saying; just bits and pieces.
So, about 20 minutes have gone by and he suddenly starts devouring his food. I shall continue with my coffee whilst observing the toddler….

Drove to Bedford and back to retrieve my grandson; he’s going to stay here a few days. Anyway, had both toddler grandsons at the house this afternoon. and now I’m right tired…..

We left Damascus on Friday 12/24 about 15:00 and arrived at daughter’s house ’bout 19:00. Didn’t go to church ’cause both grand babies were sick. So Christmas morning up around 07:00 and Mike (2 year old) opened some gifts but he really wasn’t paying attention, just having a good time. We all left for my Parents’ place around 11:00 for an hour drive to DuBois where we had an excellent Christmas dinner thanks to my sister in law Alison. Fearing the pending blizzard I left with my older daughter about 18:30 for the return trip to Damascus whilst Sweetous stayed with Dawnie in State College. Arrived home in Damascus about 21:00 on Christmas night; exhausted….
And along with the daunting itinerary I still have the Head Cold from Hell; an ongoing phenomenon since mid December…

We will visit my daughters and her family in PA for the Christmas weekend; can’t wait to see baby Leah again, and toddler Mike too of course ! We will also visit my Parents for Christmas dinner; prepared by Alison my sister in law. Alison is an outstanding preparer of food ! Will likely see my brother Kevin too and his kids.
I don’t know any of the scheduling detail ’cause I leave that to the Women; too complicated for me LOL !

Was out walking for my lunch hour; placed my hand in coat pocket detecting the presence of a five dollar bill heretofore unknown to everyone but God…
Today’s my first day back at work since Wednesday last week. The office has been fairly calm but I do have quite a pile of new work on my desk. Of course this is a good thing in that it makes unemployment fairly unlikely….
The weekend was a blur of driving, shopping and visiting family. We had a great dinner at my Parents house and a good time was had by all. Baby Leah is cute as can be, happy and healthy. Mike having passed the benchmark second birthday has been promoted from Baby to Toddler and now fills the newly created Big Brother position in the family. His favorite activities are running around the house and watching Toy Story videos. Like any excellent toddler, Mike is a bundle of energy and is very vocal about his likes and dislikes…

I am right good and tired…
Busy at work all last week. Sweetous decided it was time to go to Piglette’s on Wednesday; so I drove her to State College and then I came back thursday morning. By all indications Leah was to be born on Thursday but she stretched it out ’til past midnight. So she was born very early Friday. I drove up to State College to meet my new grand baby on Friday. Then return trip Saturday afternoon. Stopped in Frederick and went to church before going home. Then to top it all off: I stayed up lost in cyberspace ’til 03:00 am Sunday morning….
GAWD ! I’m tired….

Quite a busy day ! First a mission for the Woman to buy stuff for Aiden’s first birthday party. Then the party. All the babies were there and they brought their parents too. A good time was had by all. After the party I went to Church in Frederick and then to Borders for a while. So now I’m at home with the Woman and the dogs which is exactly where I’m supposed to be…

My wife and daughters like to save money by buying stuff they find on Craig’s List or eBay. Seems to me they are spending money, not saving it. LOL ! So today my younger daughter calls me to get my older daughter’s phone number at work. About an hour later I get called by elder daughter who asks me to go meet a woman after work to take delivery on a plastic kid’s wagon they found on Craigs List !
