Not real busy at work today but I did make some good progress packing up old files for storage. I also went walking at lunch time and after work about 20 minutes each time and I climbed 3 flights of stairs twice. I’m tired now though…..

I was on hold with the IRS for about 40 minutes ! Finally someone came on line and set me up with a payment plan. I even got a lot of work done too today !

Really good day at work. Finished everything that was on my list and then got 15 boxes of old files packed and ready to ship to archives. I’m anticipating another good day tomorrow…..

I think I work too much ! Was in the office at 7:00 and didn’t leave ’til 18:30 ! I shall make it a point to NOT do that again tomorrow !

Well, I’m pleased that I have all my work done that I had planned to finish tomorrow. So, tomorrow I can start the stuff for next week. It’s a rat race ! Better than unemployment I would say….

Half hour morning walk; then busy day at work wrangling a spreadsheet with concatinations and other exotic text functions. After work fixed some steaks for supper and then went outside to burn some brush with the Woman….

I really like Fruit2day, a nice healthy snack or breakfast item. I buy it at Safeway where it is usually $1.79 each; periodically on sale for $1.50. Monday morning I stopped at Safeway before work and noted that it was priced at $1.99 ! I declined to buy any. Anyway, same day, late afternoon they have it priced at $0.99 ! I bought ten of them. Just sort of amazes me how something can vary in price so much !
I’m taking a break from transcribing a lengthy hand written list of items for an insurance claim. The list (from the client) is infested with bad spelling, strange grammar, and odd word choices. I’m not an English teacher but I can pick that stuff out in a heartbeat. The really odd thing about this particular instance is that the client is really heavy into home schooling as evidenced by the plethora of textbooks, curricula etc. on the list. Seems rather odd to me….
LOL ! I better spell check this before I post ‘cause I know after ranting about spelling and grammar someone would be sure to “call me out” if they found anything here….

Car not starting today; doesn’t like damp weather. So I’m waiting for Daisy to bring the car with the baby so I can take him to baby sitter. Then I’ll be working from home today….

I was all ready to go to Church this morning and the car wouldn’t start ! I think we might need to replace the Rav4 ’cause it has been having problems lately; specifically does not want to start in wet weather ! It’s old as dirt so probably need to replace it but I’m not really prepared for that ! Dang it !
On a positive note; since I wasn’t able to get to church I worked on some work I had brought home from work and took a big bite out of my backlog !

Busy day ‘specially for a Saturday ! Started out I took Puppy to the groomers, then got a sandwich for breakfast. I cleaned the house some and started the wash. I had planned to pay bills, but so far have not.
Something bit me right on the ass and I decided to lug the trundle bed Sweetous found on Craig’s list upstairs and put it together. That was some serious work !
In few minutes got to go get Puppy from the groomer and perhaps go loiter somewhere. Maybe I’ll go to Church this evening….
Sometime this weekend I do need to pay the bills and I also brought some work home from the office that I ought to do….

Working from home today; good thing ’cause there’s a decent amount of snow in the driveway. I looked outside earlier and the neighbor was shoveling; which is a change ’cause usually we have to shovel it out…..

I’m transcribing some hand written data (dates) into a spreadsheet. The dates are supposed to be used to figure depreciation on the items listed on the sheet; but it seems to me to be an exercise in futility….
The quality of the hand written data ranges from “barely legible” to “let’s take a wild ass guess” and most of the dates are expressed as indeterminate ranges as in “over 2 years” or as a range of years for a single item rather than as discrete dates…
That’s what I have to work with so I’ll type it in and pass it along….

Was out walking for my lunch hour; placed my hand in coat pocket detecting the presence of a five dollar bill heretofore unknown to everyone but God…
Today’s my first day back at work since Wednesday last week. The office has been fairly calm but I do have quite a pile of new work on my desk. Of course this is a good thing in that it makes unemployment fairly unlikely….
The weekend was a blur of driving, shopping and visiting family. We had a great dinner at my Parents house and a good time was had by all. Baby Leah is cute as can be, happy and healthy. Mike having passed the benchmark second birthday has been promoted from Baby to Toddler and now fills the newly created Big Brother position in the family. His favorite activities are running around the house and watching Toy Story videos. Like any excellent toddler, Mike is a bundle of energy and is very vocal about his likes and dislikes…

This was one of my busiest days on record ! I’m happy though ’cause I finished the task I set out to complete; transcribed a large stack of illegible hand written lists to an excel spreadsheet. So now I’ll do some web surfing and likely drift off to sleep….
